Breaking News Food stamps issued early for counties who were affected by Hurricane Matthew 


SNAP customers in Baker, Brevard, Broward, Citrus, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Glades, Hendry, Hernando, Highlands, Indian River, Lake, Marion, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Nassau, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Polk, Putnam, Seminole, St. Johns, St. Lucie, and Volusia Counties:</strong> If you live in these counties and you have not received your SNAP benefits for October, due to hurricane Matthew you will receive an early deposit on October 7, 2016.This statement is directly from the Florida Department of Children and Families website. Food stamp recipients in these counties check your cards. This should help if you are without power or are still preparing for the storm.
